SmartWood Certifies Sprint Press/Denver as a "Forest Stewardship
Council-Certified Printer"
The Forest Stewardship Council and the SmartWood program of the
Rainforest Alliance are pleased to announce that Sprint Press/Denver
has received FSC chain-of-custody certification for its operations.
This certification will allow Sprint Press/Denver to make use of FSC-
certified paper to print jobs with the FSC trademarked "checkmark and
tree" logo, as a way of educating consumers about available FSC
products, and ensuring purchasers that the paper was made from wood
harvested from well-managed forests.
The Rainforest Alliance’s SmartWood Chain-of-Custody (CoC)
certification is a comprehensive system for tracking certified wood
from the forest floor to the sales floor...and through every point in
between. The SmartWood seal of approval assures
Sprint Press/Denver customers that they are buying responsibly
harvested wood products from well-managed forests.
